BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The trial of Alan Booth, accused of driving drunk and crashing into a crowd during the 2023 Bakersfield Christmas Parade, injuring three people, faces further delays.

PREVIOUS REPORTING: Trial for Bakersfield Christmas Parade crash suspect postponed again, set for Jan. 5

Booth is currently undergoing a separate trial for misdemeanor charges related to an alleged drunk driving incident outside a Bakersfield car dealership in April 2024.

Jury selection for this case has been postponed to Tuesday, Jan. 20.
