The “Search and Destroy” singer will headline the festival on Saturday, July 18, while Bikini Kill takes over on Sunday, July 19, Moswood Meltown organizers announced Thursday.

Other acts such as Oktoboke Beaver, The Spits, Scowl and The Dead Milkmen will also be performing at the popular event. The annual pre-party will take place on Friday, July 17, at 4 p.m.

Iggy Pop is known as the “Godfather of Punk” and earned a reputation for his unique voice and unpredictability on stage. He headlined the concert back in 2017, when the event was still known as the Burger Boogaloo.

Feminist punk pioneers, Bikini Kill, meanwhile, helped kickstart the “riot grrrl” movement of the 1990s. They’re known for songs such as “Rebel Girl and “Double Dare Ya.”

Mosswood Meltdown was founded in 2009 by “Hairspray” filmmaker John Waters.
