SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Carolina Estrada is an award-winning bilingual journalist whose reporting career spans major newsrooms in the U.S.

Over the past few years, she’s made Sacramento her home and has covered everything from breaking news to in-depth investigations, earning multiple Emmy and Society of Professional Journalists awards for her work. 

Her proudest achievement is an award for her year-long investigation into California’s family court system, and how it continues to fail domestic violence victims.

She’s passionate about putting viewers first every morning and telling stories that inform, connect, and truly matter to the community.

Carolina was born in Mexico and raised in Southern California and is very close to her family. Over the past years, she’s made Sacramento her home and enjoys exploring the city’s coffee shops, new restaurants and bookstores with her pet Titan.
