A pedestrian was found dead on a freeway junction in downtown Los Angeles and the California Highway Patrol Friday are investigating the death.
CHP officers were called at 2:57 a.m. Friday to the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway and the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway where they found the victim, CHP Officer J.R. Hernandez told City News Service.

The pedestrian, whose name, age or gender were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of two lanes of the 110 Freeway and the 10 Freeway while they investigated and awaited medical examiner’s personnel.
All lanes were reopened around 6:30 a.m. and the SigAlert was cancelled.
