Investigators say a car struck a parked food truck and the driver fled; Reward of up to $25,000 offered.

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who fled after crashing into a parked food truck on Pico Boulevard, seriously injuring a woman, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 12:55 p.m. on Oct. 4, 2025, near Hayworth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division. Investigators said a white Nissan Pathfinder traveling westbound on Pico Boulevard struck the rear of a parked food truck, causing one of the occupants to be thrown onto the roadway.

The driver of the Nissan, described only as a woman, ran from the scene on foot without identifying herself or providing aid, as required by law, police said.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the injured woman, 50, to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

Police reminded motorists that anyone involved in a collision must stop when it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, remain at the scene and provide identifying information.

The city’s Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund, established by the Los Angeles City Council in 2015, offers rewards of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of hit-and-run suspects, or resolution through a civil compromise.

Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact West Traffic Division detectives at 213-473-0216. Calls outside business hours and on weekends should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247).
