A person was attacked on Saturday while demonstrating in downtown Sacramento against the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, police said. A vehicle was also damaged. Sacramento police said officers responded to reports of an assault just before 3:30 p.m. in the 500 block of N Street, which is near the John Moss Federal Building. The suspects fled prior to police arrival.
