
Nearly 5.0 earthquake felt in San Diego, Orange County and Temecula
(FOX 5/KUSI) — Did you feel it? A 4.9 magnitude earthquake was reported about 12 miles northeast of Indio, California Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

It was initially reported around 5:56 p.m. Preliminary data estimates the quake had a depth of about two miles.
Coordinates show it initially struck northeast of Dillon and Thousand Palms Canyon Roads, near the Pinyon Well area.
Several reports indicate the earthquake was felt throughout San Diego, including La Jolla and Mission Valley, and even parts of Orange County and Temecula. You can report if you felt the quake on the USGS website.
No injuries or damage have been reported.
