The Heat will be right back in action on the second night of a West Coast back-to-back versus the Sacramento Kings.

After the now 22-21 Miami Heat’s discouraging second half effort in a loss to the Golden State Warriors, they will aim to respond against the Sacramento Kings on the road for the second half of a back-to-back.

The Kings have been one of the league’s biggest disappointments this season. Despite a roster that has Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine and Russell Westbrook— they have underperformed to a 12-31 record thus far. They sit at the 14th seed in the Western Conference and have lost eight of their last 10 games.

Miami is in need of a bounce back performance. Not only after falling to the Warriors on Monday night, but after the Kings stormed into Kaseya Center and upset the Heat back on December 6. In that game, LaVine torched the Heat defense with a 42-point eruption.

The Heat have not released their injury report yet, but barring any surprises, the only key rotation piece expected to be unavailable is Tyler Herro. They will try to snap a three-game losing streak against Sacramento, with the team’s last win against the Kings dates all the way back to February of 2024.
