Last time out: Assane Diop had a triple-double (11 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists) as USD routed Bethesda of the National Christian College Athletic Association 113-67 at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Tim Moore Jr. scored a career-high 32 points for USD, which rested starting guards Ty-Laur Johnson, Juanse Gorosito and Adrian McIntyre.

Series history: Washington State leads the all-time series, 3-1.

Toreros update: Toneari Lane and Dominique Ford both got their eighth starts of the season against Bethesda and finished with 17 and 12 points, respectively. Diop and Moore have started the past four games over freshman Alejandro Avilres and Vuk Boskovic. USD had lost five of six games to WCC opponents. Johnson leads the Toreros in scoring with an average of 15.1 points a game and is followed by Gorosito (10.7), Lane (10.2) and McIntyre (9.4) and Moore (7.7). Diop leads USD in rebounding with an average of 4.1 per game.

Cougars update: Washington State lost at Gonzaga and against San Francisco last week. Ace Glass leads Washington State in scoring with an average of 16.2 points per game while shooting 47.6% from the floor. Eemeli Yalaho is averaging 10.1 points a game and leads the Cougars with 5.8 rebounds a game. Tomas Thrastarson is averaging 9.9 points a game. Yalaho is from Finland, Thrastarson is from Iceland and Okafor is from Ireland. WSU has a plus-3.8 rebounding margin this year but has a minus-3.1 turnover differential, which could be a problem against USD’s pressing defense.
