SAN JOSE, Calif. – Nevada Women’s Basketball is on the road for a mid-week match-up at San José State. Tip is set for Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

The Pack is coming off of a loss to Fresno State over the weekend, 54-44. Olivia Poulivaati led in scoring and rebounds with a season high in both categories. She had 10 points and seven boards.

In the fourth, Nevada failed to score for over half of the quarter as Fresno State went on an 15-0 run to put them up by 18 and ultimately put the game away.

The defense did steal the ball 13 times and managed to get 17 points off of the turnovers.

The Spartans are on a seven-game losing streak, yet to win a conference game. The most recent loss was to Colorado State on Saturday, 75-60. Amira Brown led in scoring and rebounds with 22 points and nine boards. Maya Anderson contributed with 14 points, five rebounds and four steals.

San José State also struggled with getting shots to fall, shooting just over 38 percent from the floor, 26.9 percent from three and 64.7 percent from the charity stripe. They turned the ball over 15 times, but took it away 10.

Despite being up by one at the end of the first, the Spartans were outscored, 21-14, in the second and 24-12 in the fourth.

Last season, the series was split as Nevada won in Reno, 63-59, but fell in San Jose, 72-67. Wednesday night will mark the 70th meeting between the two teams.
