SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A man wanted for domestic violence in Shreveport has been arrested in California, police report.
Officials with SPD say Kendrick Jones was arrested in Long Beach in connection with a case from July 6 in the 4200 block of Henry Street.
Jones is accused of repeatedly hitting a woman in the face with brass knuckles during some kind of domestic dispute. Police say this took place in front of two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, who tried to intervene and were injured while doing so.
After the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Jones on two counts of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment and one count of battery of a dating partner with a dangerous weapon.

Officials in Long Beach were able to arrest Jones after getting tips from the public.
Jones will be extradited back to Louisiana to face his charges.
