The opening round of the 2026 SMX Next Supercross season will take place this weekend in conjunction with round 3 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship at Anaheim 2. 

The AMA National Championship will consist of four invitational qualifying rounds featuring the best A and B riders in the country and culminating in the SMX Next Championship in Philadelphia, PA on April 25. 

Feld and the AMA have released the entry list for the first round and it features a ton of heavy hitters including Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing teammates Landen Gordon, Kayden Minear, and Caden Dundney. In addition, Deacon Denno, Vincent Wey, Landon Gibson, Kade Johnson and more are list on the pre-entry list.
