Two Oakland County cannabis shops are among 25 across the state, including five shops in Warren, fined by state regulators in December.

Joyology of Lake Orion, 4898 Bald Mountain Road in Orion Township, was fined $10,000 for breaking state rules for general operations, sharing data with the state and for selling state-quarantined marijuana multiple times. Company officials promised to provide state investigators with an operating plan that would correct the errors but failed to provide the plan on at least three occasions.

Superb Cannabis Co., 4611 Liberty Drive in Lake Orion, was cited for sharing inaccurate plant data with the state and improper disposal of waste marijuana as well as improper waste security. The company received a $2,333.34 fine for the violations and orders to document changes showing the shop had made changes to comply with state laws.
