BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Strong reactions emerged in Kern County as President Donald Trump marked the one-year mark of his second term.
Protesters walked off the job and out of classrooms to voice their opposition to policies they claim are hurting communities nationwide.
A rally took place at the Liberty Bell on Truxtun Avenue, where participants protested against “Trump-pushed policies” ranging from ICE raids to abortion bans across the U.S.
Today’s protest was part of hundreds held across the country.
