1 killed, 1 injured after victims dropped off at Northwest Fresno urgent care, police say

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — The man who was shot and killed over the weekend in Fresno County has been identified as 23-year-old Banwari Godara.

Authorities say the shooting happened on Saturday at a truck repair yard on South Cedar Avenue near Jefferson Avenue.

While the shooting happened in a county area, Godara and another victim were found with gunshot wounds on Shaw between Brawley and Marty avenues in northwest Fresno.

Both were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where Godara died. The other victim was released from the hospital.

No arrests have been made.
