At least one notable figure says he won’t be in the crowd at Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California.

President Donald Trump told the New York Post on Friday that he intends to skip the big game at Levi’s Stadium on Feb. 8.

“It’s just too far away,” Trump said. “I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter.”

Trump told the publication that he has gotten big rounds of applause at past Super Bowls.

The president was in attendance this past year in New Orleans, where the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs.

Trump also criticized musical acts Green Day and Bad Bunny, scheduled to perform at the game.

“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump said.

Both backed Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, CNN reported.

Bad Bunny, Puerto Rican singer and rapper, will perform the halftime show, while Green Day will perform before the kickoff, Fox News said.

Bad Bunny and Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong have criticized Trump in the past.

The teams who will play in the Super Bowl have yet to be determined, with the New England Patriots facing the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks facing the Los Angeles Rams today to determine the final match-up.
