LONG BEACH, CA — Shots were fired during a street takeover in Long Beach on Saturday, police say.
Officers responded to a street takeover in the area of Victoria Street and Long Beach Boulevard shortly after 3 a.m., the Long Beach Police Department said.
While the officers made their way, reports of shots fired in the area came in, police said.
Officers arrived and found evidence that a shooting had occurred, according to police.
However, police said, “No injuries were reported.”
Police said officers collected evidence.
An investigation is ongoing as detectives work to gather suspect information and try to determine a motive for the shooting.
