Anthony Aceves, Abel Ramos and Edgar Gonzales, who are a part of the Bakersfield Police Activities League boxing team, are scheduled to compete in the International Tournament in Pueblo, Colo. Feb. 7-14.
Aceves, who competes in the 12-13-year age group and in the 95-pound class, is ranked No. 1 in the nation. Ramos also competes in the 12-13 age group, but in the 90-pound weight class. Gonzales is in the 17-18 age group and competes against those in 132-pound weight class.
They were invited to the international tournament for having a winning record.

The three boxers said they enjoy competing and they are grateful for the support from BPAL, which will have a tri-tip sandwich fundraiser on Friday.
