Bakersfield; Ca — January 28th is National Kazoo Day across the US. CEO and President of Kazoobie Kazoos Stephen Murray joined Eyewitness News Mornings to talk about the history of the kazoo.
Mr. Murray joined Eyewitness News from the Kazoo Museum in Beaufort, South Carolina. The kazoo is an American created instrument. It was designed by a freed slave from Alabama in the late 1800’s. Today it is used for enjoyment, music, and as a breathing tool for those trying to strengthen their lungs.
