BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern Foundation is set to begin accepting applications for the 2026 City Hall Apprenticeship Program.

The six-month program offers adults age 18 to 30 paid, hands-on experience with the city’s public works, development services or general services departments.

Program manager Olivia Kent joined ARC Bakersfield to share more details.

The application window is open from January 30 to February 26.
