Loretta Brown
OBITUARY
Loretta Ann Brown, age 85, passed away on Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.
She is survived by her four children: Lori, Lisa, Lynn, and Larry, along with their spouses. Loretta also leaves behind seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Born on March 12th, 1940, in Oceanside, California, Loretta began her dance career at the age of seven. By thirteen, she was teaching baton and was a drum majorette. She met her husband, Lonnie (“Tiny”) Brown, in 1956 and they were married in Yuma, Arizona, shortly thereafter.
Loretta’s career included work as a truck dispatcher, homemaker, and florist. She loved gardening, sewing, and baking.
A viewing is scheduled for Friday, October 24th, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Eternal Hills Park, Oceanside. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 25th, at 1 PM, also at Eternal Hills, followed by a celebration of life at PCH, 1835 South Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA 92054.
