According to a press release from Visit San Jose, the event will take place at Plaza de Cesar Chavez from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, offering attendees an unforgettable evening filled with vibrant performances, delicious food, and a lively DJ dance party.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of cultural experiences throughout the evening, including the traditional lamp lighting ceremony that marks the start of Diwali, high-energy musical performances by Vidya Vox, and a chance to shop for unique items from local vendors.

Entry to the festival is free, though registration is required to guarantee your spot. For those driving to the event, five ParkSJ garages offer 90 minutes of free parking, with the closest option being the Second & San Carlos Street Garage. After the initial 90 minutes, parking is $1 per 15 minutes, capped at $10.
Street parking is also free after 6 pm on Saturdays, making it convenient for attendees to enjoy the festivities without worrying about logistics.
