The person was transported to a hospital for possible smoke inhalation.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person has been displaced after a house fire in Louisville’s California neighborhood.

According to the Louisville Fire Department, crews were dispatched just after 3:00 a.m. to the 1700 block of W. Kentucky Street.

Fire crews arrived withing four minutes, encountering a one-story home with fire in multiple rooms and the attic. 

The fire was brough under control at 4:30 a.m., according to LFD, one person evacuated before crews arrived. That person was transported to a hospital for possible smoke inhalation. No firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by Louisville Fire Arson Bureau.
