Over two dozen firefighters battled an early morning fire in freezing temperatures in the California neighborhood.The Louisville Fire Department said it was called out to the 1700 block of West Kentucky Street on reports of a house fire. The fire broke out around 3 a.m. Saturday. When crews arrived on the scene, they found a one story house with fire in multiple rooms and the attic. Officials said that only one person was in the house at the time of the fire and they got out of the house before fire crews arrived. One person was taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation but no other injuries were reported and all firefighters were uninjured. It took crews a nearly an hour and a half to gain control of the fire. Louisville Fire Arson Bureau is investigating the cause of the fire.
