WINSLOW., Ind. (WFIE) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a fatal off-road vehicle accident that happened Sunday evening.
According to a press release, conservation officers responded to private property near Old State Road 64 and State Road 257 for a report of an ORV accident with entrapment in Winslow.
Officials say that 50-year-old John Goodall was leaving his deer hunting area to pick up his spouse when the ORV overturned and trapped him underneath.
They say Goodall’s spouse heard the accident and called 911.
Despite life saving measures taken, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
