BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The city of Tehachapi is hosting multiple events in the coming weeks.
The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District is hosting the Presidential Polar Plunge on February 16 at 9 a.m. at Dye Natatorium Pool.

The 2X Monster Trucks Live Tour is taking place at the Tehachapi Rodeo Grounds on February 14 and 15.

The city of Tehachapi is also accepting nominations for their Extraordinary Women Recognition.
The recognition is for women who live, work or volunteer in Tehachapi and support the community in a significant way.
Nominations will be accepted until February 16 with the recognition ceremony taking place on March 2 in honor of Women’s History Month.
