ANAHEIM, CA — A pedestrian was killed on the California State route 57 Freeway Tuesday, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 6:28 a.m. on the freeway traveling northbound in Anaheim, near Katella Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to the preliminary investigation, a body found on the roadway was “hit multiple times by different vehicles.”
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP.
The crash prompted authorities to shut down both on-ramps and off-ramps near the freeway on Katella Avenue.
