LONG BEACH, CA, (February 4, 2026) – Hotel Maya, Long Beach’s beloved waterfront landmark, proudly announces the appointment of Lisa Duncan as Director of Sales & Marketing. In this role, Duncan will lead the hotel’s sales and marketing efforts, with a focus on driving revenue and strengthening the property’s position as a premier waterfront destination.

As we continue to position Hotel Maya for the future, her leadership will support the hotel’s continued evolution.”

“I’m incredibly proud to continue my journey with Hotel Maya,” said Lisa Duncan, Director of Sales and Marketing, Hotel Maya. “After many years with the property, stepping into this role to lead our sales and marketing efforts feels like a natural progression as we continue to shape Hotel Maya’s place as one of Long Beach’s defining waterfront destinations.”

Prior to Hotel Maya, Duncan held senior sales and convention services roles with Choura Events in Long Beach and at luxury hotels including Shutters on the Beach, Casa del Mar, Claremont Resort & Spa, and Renaissance Stanford Court Hotel. Duncan began her hospitality career with Kimpton Hotels in San Francisco and supported multiple W Hotels openings as part of the brand’s task force team. Duncan lives in Long Beach with her husband and has four children. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and tending to her growing plant collection.
