Criminal charges could be coming for a Detroiter who allegedly destroyed property at a Bloomfield Township urgent care center recently and allegedly was in possession of stolen merchandise and drug paraphernalia.

According to the Bloomfield Township Police Department, the man, age 30, reportedly came into the facility in the 42000 block of Woodward Avenue on Feb. 5 to warm up, then proceeded to break items in the lobby and bathroom — where he allegedly put a hole in the wall.

Police called to the scene arrested him and, while searching him, allegedly found $158.99 worth of merchandise stolen from a CVS which neighbors the urgent care facility. Officers also allegedly found narcotics paraphernalia while searching him.

The man was subsequently released from custody.

The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office will review the report and determine if criminal charges are warranted.
