The popular annual GoldenSky festival announces via Instagram it will be postponed with hopes to return in 2027.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento’s annual country music festival “GoldenSky” announced via their Instagram that they won’t be returning this year.
The popular event, which started in 2022, has brought big-name country artists to Sacramento’s Discovery Park including Keith Urban and Eric Church. These big performances were alongside a plethora of smaller shows from other artists in the genre that fans enjoyed over the course of a weekend.
Typically, GoldenSky is held in October over the course of two to three days, similar to the popular music festival “Aftershock” held around the same time. However, this year, organizers said they decided to postpone it to ensure the festival lives up to the fans’ expectations.
“We’ve made the decision to take one additional year to ensure that GoldenSky returns at the right time and at the level our fans, artists and partners expect,” organizers said in an Instagram post.
GoldenSky ended the post by saying they hope to return again in 2027.
