Basking in the glow of a successful Super Bowl week that some estimates say brought in close to $500 million, San Francisco patted itself on the back a bit Wednesday.

Results from the latest CityBeat poll from the city’s Chamber of Commerce show more than 60% of city residents say things are headed in the right direction.

“64% of San Franciscans believe San Francisco is going in the right direction, which is fantastic,” Chamber of Commerce CEO Rodney Fong said. “I think all of us feel this coming off Super Bowl week – the energy in the city, the vibe in the city.”
