A man in his mid-50s was assaulted and robbed Sunday in Fresno.
The alleged attack happened at 4:30 p.m. at the southeast corner of Bullard and Maroa Avenues, police said.
Police said two men, believed to be in their 20s, approached the victim and began striking him with their fists. Police said the suspects may also have used a baseball bat during the assault.
The suspects allegedly stole cash and a cell phone from the victim before fleeing the area on foot.
The victim later sought medical treatment at a local hospital, reporting pain from the attack. His condition has not been released.
Police are continuing to investigate and have not announced any arrests.
