Orange County Coast and San Diego County Coastal Areas are under a beach hazards statement which was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 1:55 a.m. The statement is in effect until 5 a.m.
The NWS San Diego CA adds to prepare for, “Thunderstorms with lightning will move ashore early this morning. Beach lightning is likely between Oceanside and Solana Beach.”
“Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion,” the NWS said. “Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.”
