Firefighters rescued a 3-month-old puppy who managed get itself stuck in a crevice between two large rocks.
Firefighters came to the rescue of a three-month-old puppy who managed get itself stuck in a narrow crevice between two large rocks in Ramona, California.
The rescue required the use technical gear and urban search and rescue crew to extract it from its predicament.
Video from Cal Fire shows the great Pyrenees puppy named Zoe cry as it wiggles between the two boulders.
Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) 12 Deer Springs and firefighters from Engine 82 Ramona were deployed to the rescue and used a combination of pneumatic air bags, ropes, and hoses to free the distressed canine.
“Zoe was reunited with her grateful owner, tail wagging and spirits high. We’re so glad this ‘ruff’ situation had a happy ending for everyone involved!” San Diego County Fire wrote to Facebook.
