Noochie, a gray tabby cat adopted from Berkeley Humane, has been judged one of the top animal actors of the year by W. Magazine for his role in the film “Sorry, Baby.” “Noochie is dumb as rocks and sweet as sugar,” said his owner, Cody Reiss, who plays a role in the movie.

“Noochie and his five siblings were transported to Berkeley Humane as part of the organization’s ongoing lifesaving efforts to support overcrowded shelters and vulnerable animals across the state and Hawaii,” the animal shelter said in a statement. After receiving the medical care and support they needed, all six young kittens were adopted into loving homes within approximately one week, beating the odds and setting Noochie on the path to his current stardom.”
