A water main break in the Burbank has prompted street closures in the area early Friday.
The Burbank Police and Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. near West Clark Avenue and North Whitnall Highway.
Authorities shut down the roads near Hollywood Way and Whitnall Highway due to flooding.
According to the Burbank Police Department, they attempted to move parked cars that were stuck but a few vehicles could not be moved.
Crews have already been working on the issue for a couple of hours, police said.
The Department of Water and Power has also been called to help with the rupture.
The cause of the water main break is not yet known.
