The University of San Diego closed out its home basketball season Saturday afternoon with a 77-65 loss to Loyola Marymount at Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The loss came in USD’s first game since Steve Lavin was dismissed as the Toreros’ coach earlier this week — although he will finish the season.

Four guards accounted for all but six of USD’s points as the Toreros fell to 11-18 overall and 5-11 in West Coast Conference play with two road games next week to complete the regular season. USD was 9-8 at the Jenny Craig Pavilion this week this season.

Toneari Lane led USD with 19 points. Adrian McIntyre came off the bench to add 18 points, with Juanse Gorosito scoring 12 and Dominique Ford 10.

LMU (14-15, 5-11) was led by Jan Vide’s 23 points.

Knights perfect in PCAC
