The Buchanan High girls wrestling team won the Central Section Masters, held at Selland Arena in Fresno on Saturday.
Four Bears wrestlers placed first.
Highland placed second as a team, followed by Golden West, Bakersfield, Righetti, and Nipomo.
Marcia Nunez, Christina Estrada, Trinity Garza and Olivia Faust stood on the top of the podium for Buchanan. Estrada won by technical fall.
Buchanan hopes to continue its winning ways at the state championships next week in Bakersfield.
In 2025, the Bears finished third, while Clovis East won the state title.
