According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Kings are signing Killian Hayes to a 10-day contract.
Earlier this season, Hayes had an Exhibit 10 deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, although he didn’t appear in a single regular-season game for them.
Hayes has appeared in nine G League games with the Cleveland Charge, where he averaged 24.6 points, 7.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.
The former No. 7 overall pick appeared in six games for the Brooklyn Nets last season, averaging 9.0 points and 5.2 assists in 27 minutes per game.
Hayes was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 2020 and spent four seasons with the team before joining the Nets last season.
The 24-year-old French guard has struggled to find a consistent role in the NBA, largely due to his three-point shooting, with a career 28.1% shooting rate from beyond the arc over 216 NBA games.
