FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Students are taking action to help send thousands of meals overseas.
On Sunday, the Justin Garza High School Interact Club assembled 15,000 school meals that will be shipped to Southeast Asia.
This is a partnership with Rise Against Hunger to help keep students fed.
Dozens came out to assemble the aid at the high school.
The Interact Club says this lets them expand their care internationally.
The Justin Garza High School Interact Club also partnered with North Fresno Rotary.
They raised over $6,000 for this project.
