Trump’s war on my grandchildren rolls on. This time it’s the repeal of the “endangerment finding,” which allows the government to regulate the greenhouse gases causing climate change. He would have you believe climate change is not dangerous! The ignorance is breathtaking.
The repeal is also futile. The world will switch from fossil fuels to 100% clean energy; it’s only a matter of time. Why? Precisely because climate change is so dangerous. But this action slows that transition, and time is precious. The failure of the United States to act during the Trump years means a poorer, more dangerous world for us all, particularly for our kids and grandkids.
It is a sad fact this action is rooted in corruption. During the last election Trump demanded $1 billion from the oil companies, promising to free them from regulations. They delivered. So did he.
Tell Congress to reverse this action.
