Police in Long Beach are investigating after a man’s body was found floating in Queensway Bay near the Queen Mary late Monday night.
Officers responded to the Port of Long Beach shortly after 10:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a body in the water, a spokesperson for the Long Beach Police Department said Tuesday.
When officers arrived, they found the body of an unidentified adult man with no obvious signs of trauma, according to police.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the man’s identity and cause of death. The agency confirmed that no trauma was found on the body.
