Major Injury Traffic Collision on SR91 Eastbound at Imperial Highway Off-Ramp, Orange County
ANAHEIM, Calif., (Feb. 24, 2026) — A major crash involving a semi-truck and a gray Honda Accord resulted in major injuries Tuesday morning on the eastbound Riverside 91 Freeway at the Imperial Highway off-ramp.
The incident occurred on Feb. 24th at approximately 9:38 a.m. when a semi-truck hauling dirt overturned and blocked the off-ramp lanes. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) initially classified the incident as involving unknown injuries but later updated it to a major injury collision.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene swiftly, finding the driver of the overturned work truck conscious and breathing, though out of the vehicle. At least one person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities temporarily blocked the off-ramp to manage the situation and clear debris and a rotation tow was requested at the scene to assist with the removal of the vehicles.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the CHP, and they are seeking any witnesses who may have seen the incident unfold. The investigation remains ongoing to determine the precise chain of events leading to the collision.
