A person who entered the campus of Miwok Middle School in East Sacramento caused a disturbance Tuesday morning before leaving prior to officers’ arrival, Sacramento police said.
Officers responded just after 9:30 a.m. to the 3100 block of I Street after receiving reports that a subject had come onto campus and disrupted staff and students, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
No injuries were reported and instruction continued without interruption.
The person left before police arrived. Officers investigated and are preparing a report, a spokesperson for the department said.
Witnesses described the person as behaving erratically, and police said they were not aware of any connection between the individual and the school.
