Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department seized an estimated $1.5 million in stolen property inside a sprawling warehouse in Ontario earlier this month, officials announced.
Members of LASD’s Major Crimes Bureau and Cargo Criminal Apprehension teams searched the facility on Feb. 18 as part of an investigation into cargo theft in Ontario, officials said in a news release.
Detectives, who said the investigation remains ongoing, did not disclose the whereabouts of the warehouse, nor was any information provided on how the location came to the attention of law enforcement.

Inside the facility, investigators recovered the following stolen merchandise:
22 pallets of First Tactical clothing, manufactured in Modesto, valued at approximately $1.2 million
21 pallets of Fisher-Price toys stolen from Amazon valued at approximately $250,000
9 pallets of Amazon mixed freight valued at approximately $100,000
No arrests were made during the recovery of the stolen property, officials said.
