Kern County Employers’ Training Resource offers resume tips for local job seekers

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County Employers’ Training Resource is highlighting local employers at their weekly Job Hub sessions.

The Job Hub helps connect job seekers with employers that are looking to hire qualified candidates and help them take the next step in their career.

The next Job Hub session is taking place on March 3 at 9 a.m. at the ETR Recruitment Center on 1215 Olive Drive.

Danette Williams with Kern County Employers’ Training Resource joined Eyewitness News Mornings to share more details.

Williams also shared tips for job seekers looking for a new career.

She says job seekers should not only keep their resume updated but customize it to each job that is applied to.

Williams says this makes sure all skills that are relevant to the job are easy for the employer to see.
