‘Fix50’ 55-hour lane closure planned this weekend in downtown Sacramento

Sacramento drivers, be on the lookout.A 55-hour closure on some highway lanes is planned this weekend, starting at 10 p.m. on Friday through 5 a.m. on Monday. The lane reductions are set for eastbound Highway 50 from the Interstate 5 connector to 9th Street. Here are the specifics, according to Caltrans: Eastbound Highway 50 reduced to two open lanes: #1 and #2. Lanes #3 and #4 at the I-5 interchange toward 9th Street, work area will be closed.Closure of lane #1 on the southbound I-5 connector to eastbound Highway 50.
