San Francisco police are asking for the public’s help identifying a group of men wanted in connection with an aggravated assault in the city’s Cow Hollow neighborhood earlier this month that left two people hospitalized.

The assault occurred in the early morning hours of Feb. 8, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The two victims told investigators they were standing in front of a business on the 3100 block of Fillmore Street when a group of men approached them.

After a brief verbal altercation, the victims walked away – but the group followed them to the 2000 block of Union Street and physically attacked them.

Both victims sustained extensive injuries and were taken to a hospital.

The victims reported the incident to officers at the Northern District Police Station later that day.

On Wednesday, investigators released updated photos of the people of interest in the case, which remains open and active, police said.
