Mexico security operations cancel flights

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Flights to many areas in Mexico have been canceled due to ongoing security operations.

According to the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Mexico, flights to locations like Puerto Vallarta, Chapala, and Guadalajara, among others, are expected to be canceled.

Two flights set to arrive from Guadalajara have been canceled.

Two flights set to depart Fresno have been canceled.

The embassy also notes that any U.S. citizens in those areas should shelter in place due to ongoing security operations and related road blockages and criminal activity.
