Oakland Schools Technical Campus SE will send 12 culinary students to the 2026 Michigan ProStart Invitational in Battle Creek to compete in Culinary, Knife Cuts, ServSafe Knowledge Bowl and Tabletop Design.
The event will be held on March 2 and 3 and brings together 500 high school students from across the state to show off their skills in categories including Management, Culinary, Knife Cuts, Tabletop Design, Pasta, and ServSafe Quiz Bowl.
Teams are observed, judged, and rated by leading industry professionals and higher education professionals.
First-place winners of the Culinary and Management categories will earn a spot at the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore, MD, on April 24-26.
